Welcome Dr. Allen!

Dr. Allen is a native of Louisville, KY. He graduated from Centre College of Danville, KY in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Dr. Allen then attended medical school at the University of Kentucky and graduated in 2002. While in medical school, Dr. Allen was active in the UK’s chapter of the Student National Medical Association and served as president of the chapter in his last year of medical school. In 2006, Dr. Allen completed the combined internal medicine and pediatrics residency program at Wayne State University in Detroit, MI.

Dr. Allen is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Pediatrics. He recently joined Cool Springs Internal Medicine & Pediatrics and has over 14 years of experience caring for families. He is particularly fond of building lasting partnerships with his patients. Dr. Allen is an avid sports fan and enjoys attending sporting events at all levels of competition, especially basketball games. He also enjoys cooking, singing, and traveling with his wife Kiabe and their two sons.

Asia Hodgeman Asia has been with the company since 2010 and is currently the location manager for our Cool Springs clinic. In addition, Asia manages all social media platforms for both of our locations. She spends her spare time volunteering as an advocate with Imerman Angels, a support group for people who have been diagnosed with cancer. As a cancer survivor herself, she understands the importance of mentoring others with their diagnosis. She loves spending time with her husband and two boys, going to the beach, arts and crafts, and cooking.
