November is Lung Cancer Awareness Month. During the month, many people throughout the country come together for the lung cancer community. Events are held. Articles are written. Facebook statuses are updated. If you are a current smoker, the most important thing you can do is to quit. If you're a former smoker or if you've been exposed to asbestos, radon, other environmental factors, or if lung cancer runs in your family, be sure to talk with your doctor.
