Many cancer deaths could be prevented by making healthy choices like not smoking, staying at a healthy weight, eating right, keeping active, and getting recommended screening tests. The American Cancer Society sets the standard for screening guidelines for a variety of cancers and provides tools and resources to be healthier. She spends her spare time volunteering as an advocate with Imerman Angels, a support group for people who have been diagnosed with cancer. She loves spending time with her husband and two boys, going to the beach, arts and crafts, and cooking.
